for the second year and went on to take
SUPREME CHAMPION WELSH EXHIBIT
at the 2008 CANTERBURY ROYAL SHOW

'Copper' was selected after a long search for a palomino stallion with riding pony attributes,
to meet our requirements. I wanted something that was going to match well with a variety of mares.
Riding ponies - Arabians - Welsh.
To produce quality riding ponies with a difference.
The majority of our mares have Arabian blood to give resulting progeny that bit of presence &
refinement. I was not initially looking to purchase a welsh stallion,
however he ticked all of the boxes to meet my requirements.

An eye-catching deep copper in colour with a lovely neat blaze with three white stockings.
He has a fabulous temperament ( loves being brushed and petted by children).
Always a pleasure to handle at shows.
also 'Copper' can really move, he has lovely ground covering movement from the shoulder.
Correct Conformation, was an essential part of purchasing & standing a stallion at stud.

Supreme Allbreeds at the Royal Easter Show in Auckland (as a 2yr old).
He was sold to Australia where he was a Multi Supreme winner under saddle.
awarded Reserve Champion Newcomer at Barastoc, just 6 months after being broken in.
Supreme Champion Owner/ Rider at Barastoc the following year.
He was then sold to the USA.

Ngalaire Bluelight (perlino) is also the sire of
Willow Park Fashions Secret (sooty palomino) - Multi Supreme mare inhand and now under saddle.
Willow Park Sing The Blues (buckskin) - Supreme Winner inhand & in Harness.
Willow Park All That Jazz (buckskin) -  Supreme Winner inhand & now under saddle.
Klondike Opal (perlino) - Only Purebred filly by 'Bluelight' was always
Reserve to 'Willow Park Dusty Blue' in the showring.

Ngalaire Sunlight (full brother to Copper)
A striking liver chestnut. Sunlight competed at the 2008 HOY show, 
where he was awarded 6th placing in the first ridden title
class (as a 4 year old) ridden by eight year old Lilly Butler.
